Magra, a newlywed, and her husband Sam returned from their honeymoon eager to find a home for their future family. After a thorough search, they purchased a Victorian-style house that seemed perfect for their needs. However, shortly after moving in, Magra discovered something unusual while renovating: a section of the wall was made of bricks, which led to curiosity about what lay behind it.
With Sam’s encouragement, they broke through the wall to reveal a hidden door leading to a mysterious room, reminiscent of an old film set. Confused by this discovery, they approached their real estate agent for the house’s history. He recounted the tragic tale of the previous owners, John and Mary, and their two sons, Josh and Abel, who both served in the military.
During the war, Josh and Abel found themselves separated from their squad and took refuge in a decrepit house, where they discovered orphaned children hiding from the chaos of battle. When enemy soldiers approached, the brothers acted to protect the children. In a moment of bravery, Abel shielded the kids from a grenade blast, but Josh was nowhere to be found after the explosion. The real estate agent explained that the house had remained on the market due to its haunted past. Deeply moved by the story, Magra and Sam decided to clear out the hidden room to move forward.
While cleaning, Magra found an old diary belonging to Abel, which revealed a sh0cking truth: Josh had actually saved the children that night, and Abel had lied out of jealousy, wishing to retain his parents’ love.
